Chapaker is a traditional guest house at the heart of the desert of Varzaneh, in Isfahan province. Chapaker in local dialect consisted of “Ker” means short wall and “Chapaker” means the shaft near the wall. Due to the agriculture of this district is related to shafts, the villagers built a place for tourists with a shaft and a caw in order to show how they can lift the water from the shaft by caw, this place was named “Gav Chah” or Ox-well.
