Qalamkari is a hand-painted cotton textile produced in Isfahan, Iran.

Isfahan is the center of Iranian Qalamkari production, which was the capital of Iran during the Safavid period. During this period, most of the men’s and women’s clothes were made of Qalamkari fabrics.

Nowadays, Qalamkari fabrics can be used as tablecloths, rugs, pillow covers, scarves, and shawls.
