Tabriz International Hotel

Tabriz the most populated city in northwestern Iran, is one of the historical capitals of Iran and the present capital of East Azerbaijan province.
It was named World Carpet Weaving City by the World Crafts Council in October 2015. Tabriz is famous for its handicrafts, including hand-woven rugs and jewelry, and its local confectionery, chocolate, dried nuts, and traditional Tabrizi food which are recognized throughout Iran as some of the best.
The majority of the population are Azerbaijani and Persian is residents’ second language.
Most of Tabriz’s preserved historical sites belong to Ilkhanid, Safavid and Qajar era. Among these sites is the Grand Bazaar of Tabriz, which is designated a World Heritage Site and also is the largest covered bazaar in the world.
